The ASYCUDA (Automated System for Customs Data) CUSDEC (Customs Declaration) must be prepared in 4 copies (Warrant copy, Delivery Copy, Exchange Copy, Party’s Copy) as part of the cargo clearing process. CUSDEC can be processed at either the Importers office or the Customs Long Room (Katunayake), depending on who has been granted access to the DTI (Direct Trader Input) facility.
